Deep in the redwoods lives a lacrosse team…
Surrounded by ancient redwoods and minutes from the Pacific Ocean, Cal Poly Humboldt is an amazing place to live and learn.
Recently designated a polytechnic university — only the third in the state and the first in Northern California — Cal Poly Humboldt will now be able to offer more science and liberal arts programs with a focus on hands-on learning and grounded in social and environmental responsibility.
Established in 1983, the men’s lacrosse team has produced three MCLA All-Americans and is supported by an active, thriving alumni lacrosse foundation that is dedicated to the team’s success and the spreading of the sport.
Located 270 miles north of San Francisco in the rural coastal town of Arcata, Cal Poly Humboldt sits within 110 miles of coastline and 680,000 acres of state and national parks, which provide Humboldt students with both a natural laboratory and a great place for adventure.
If you’re looking for high-quality academics, professors who know you by name, and a close-knit campus community — all surrounded by miles of beaches, rivers, and redwood forests — you can stop looking.
Welcome to Cal Poly Humboldt.
