Fallon Johnson, a Fire Science major from Vista in San Diego County, enters the second half of her freshman season already helping make Humboldt Lacrosse history. As one of the first female players to suit up for the Hogs since the 1990s, Fallon has stepped into the men’s game with grit, confidence, and a drive to grow every time she hits the field.
For Fallon, lacrosse is a way to stay active and stay connected, and joining the Hogs has given her a new community to compete with. A successful season in her eyes is one with wins, of course, but also one where she builds comfort and sharpens her skill set in the men’s game. And she’s honest about one big perk: she enjoys being able to hit people, something she didn’t get much of in girls’ lacrosse.
